Course Technology has partnered with TheChauncey Group International to create a vendor-neutral IT certificationcurriculum for the Associate Technology Specialist (ATS) program.
The Chauncey Group's Associate TechnologySpecialist (ATS) certification program is based on the IT Skill Standardsauthored by the National Workforce Center for EmergingTechnologies (NWCET). NWCET wascommissioned by the National Science Foundation (NSF) to define skills standardsas needed by the IT stakeholders such as employers, higher education andgovernment agencies.
Bridging the Skills Gap
Course Technology will exclusively develop andprovide the ATS program candidates with an outline of skill standards,competency requirements, test specifications, and courseware in order to guidethem prior to certification.
To achieve ATS certification, candidates mustcomplete the Core Skills examination and two examinations from one of 8 careerclusters.
