Welcome to the Pray For Peace sanctuary. This temple exists right here, in cyberspace.Please add your prayers for loved ones to the POW prayer circle, partake of herbal medicines with respect and thanksgiving, and contemplate the Spiritual Roadmap provided by the New American Church Association (below).

Sanskrit prayer to the Supreme Lord Krishna from the Brahma-samhita (text 38)
premanjana-cchurita-bhakti-vilocanena
santah sadaiva hridayesu vilokayanti
yam syamasundaram acintya-guna-svarupam
govindam adi-purusam tam aham bhajami
I worshipGovinda, the primeval Lord, who is Syamasundar, Krishna Himself with inconceivableinnumerable attributes, whom the pure devotees see in their heart of heartswith the eye of devotion tinged with the salve of love.
Middle altar Lord Shiva, Ganesh, Nandi, the beloved Mohini-murti (black dancing figure, far left), vibudhi (holy ash), ganja (holy herb). Ganja is the spiritualenergy (shakti) of Lord Shiva, so please offer ganja to Shiva before smoking. Mantras for offering ganja: Om namo Shivaya. Bom Shivaya! Bom Bolanath! Om Shivaya namaha.
Healing prayer to Lord Shiva:
om tryambakam yajamahe
sugandhim pustivardhanam
urvarukamiva bandhanan
mrtyor muksiya ma mrtat
We adore the Father of the three worlds, Tryambakaof auspicious fame, increaser of fullness and strength. Grant me that atthe time of death, I may fall easily from the vine like a cucumber with a dried stem,and happily establish my home in the eternal.
Ground altar Elevated spirits of this world: angels, bodhi-sattvas, gurus, kachinas and earth gods.
Gayatri prayer to the upper, middle and lower worlds:
om bhur bhuvah svaha
tat savitur veranyam
bhargo devasya dimihi
dhiyo yo nah prachodayat
May there be peace on mortal, immortal and divine planets. I meditate upon the most brilliant spelndor of the Sun God. May he stimulate our intellect so that we are inspired to take right action.
Sanskrit prayer to the eternal guru (who manifests in our lives daily through all situations and people we meet):
gurubrahma guruvishnu
gurudevo maheshvara
gurusaksat param brahma
tasmai sri gurave namah
The guru is none other than the creator, Lord Brahma; he verily is Lord Vishnu,the preserver, and he truly is Mahesvara (Shiva), the destroyer. He is the supreme brahman himself. To such a guru I offer my salutations.
